Does anyone still advertise in the Local Boards “Homes” magazine?

If so, how productive do you feel it is and do you use it more for sales or for a way to get listings?

Yes, I advertise in the local "homes" magazine. The reason is that along with the advertising comes leads via the net from people requesting the magazine. By my calculations it is cheaper than PPC.

I advertise in the Homes Magazine. I get calls from it and web site visits. I think the magazine is effective but much less effective than our web sites.
While the ROI is lower we still need the leads and it creates a presence in the community IMO.

I advertise in homes magazine, i agree with glenn it is def. cheaper than ppc. I'll have to ask our marketing person the exact price but I do believe it is one of the better ways of advertising.

Well, I haven't tried posting an ad on Homes Magazine so I don't know if it is effective or not. But as I read your comments, I am quite convinced taht it is working well with you guys. I have to try it soon.
